Chilled Spicy Chaas

Ingredients

  1. Low-fat Yoghurt (120ml)
  2. Fenugreek Seeds (1/2 tsp.)
  3. Mustard Seeds (1/2 tsp.)
  4. Cumin Seeds (1/2 tsp.)
  5. Salt (1/2 tsp.)
  6. Cumin Powder and Mint Leaves(Garnish)
  7. Crushed Ice

Procedure: Take ½ tsp fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and cumin seeds in a frying pan and dry roast them. Place this roasted masala and 120 ml low-fat yoghurt in a blender. Add ½ tsp. salt to the mixture. Blend the mixture well till it gets a smooth texture. Serve this chilled spicy chaas with crushed ice. Garnish the chaas with cumin (jeera) powder and mint leaves.

Fresh Pineapple Panna

Ingredients

  1. Pineapple (7-8 Chunks)
  2. Cumin Powder (1 tsp.)
  3. Cinnamon (Pinch)
  4. Cloves (Pinch)
  5. Cardamom (1 tsp.)
  6. Rock Salt (Taste)
  7. Ice Cubes (6-7)

Procedure: Take a fresh pineapple and cut it into 7-8 chunks. Put these pineapple chunks in a blender and add 1 tsp. cumin powders and other spices to it. Add 20 ml of water, 6-7 ice cubes and 1 tsp. rock salt to the mixture. Blend the mixture till it forms a purée Strain the purée into a glass. Serve the Panna with ice cubes in a tall glass and garnish it with a slice of pineapple.

Melon Granita

Ingredients

  1. Musk Melon (6-8 pieces)
  2. Salt (1 tsp)
  3. Honey (1 tbsp)
  4. Crushed Ice

Procedure: Take a fresh musk melon. De-seed the melon and cut it into 8 pieces. Place the melon pieces along with ice cubes in a blender. Now, add 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp honey to it. Blend the mixture well. When the mixture acquires a frozen texture, serve it with crushed ice. Garnish it with a melon slice.

Benefits: Musk melon or watermelon contains 70-80% of water. This fruits improves your metabolic rate. It controls the cholesterol levels and also treats hyper acidity.

Green Apple Granita

Ingredients

  1. Green Apple (1)
  2. Mint Leaves (6-7)
  3. Honey (2 tbsp.)
  4. Salt (1 tsp.)
  5. Ice Cubes (6)

Procedure: Take a fresh green apple and cut it into large chunks. Place these chunks into the blender and add 6-7 mint leaves it to, as gives freshness to the drink. Blend the mixture along with ice till it acquires a proper texture. Add 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp honey to the drink. Serve this frozen drink in a tall glass. Garnish with an apply slice and mint leaves.

  2. Fresh Low-fat Cream (20 ml)
  3. Pineapple juice (50 ml)
  4. Ice Cubes (4-5)
  5. Coconut Pieces (Garnish)

Procedure: Take 160 ml of fresh coconut water in a container and add 20 ml of low-fat cream to it. Place it in a blender and add 50 ml of fresh pineapple juice to the mixture. Blend it with ice cubes. Serve this chilled drink in a tall glass. Garnish with coconut pieces.
